Playboy playmate Paula Sladewski murdered and left burning in dumpster… (pretty standard: Palm Beach Post; more salacious: CBS News)

Today’s bit o’ sick: monkey muffs.
If your wee dainty hands are prone to chill, warm ‘em up with a “classy” monkey fur muff!
eBay has SEVERAL bidding opportunities for the discerning shopper.
So stick your hands in a decades-dead monkey. It’s hot. And arguably more disgusting than a psycho who goes on a shooting spree after Thanksgiving dinner.
Rather than enjoying a postprandial snooze, Paul Michael Merhige opened fire on his family, killing his two sisters (twins, one of whom was pregnant), an aunt, and a 6-year-old cousin. Holidays are hell.
More on Merhige from the Palm Beach Post.

Can you believe only 5 people wanted a Caylee doll? And if you didn’t get one already, you probably missed your chance. The Florida Attorney General has brought a lawsuit against their distributer. Apparently it’s illegal to claim that your proceeds will go to charity… and then renege.
Showbiz Promotions was also hawking Michael Vick chew toys for dogs. Customers never received their orders, and promised donations to animal shelters never materialized.
Jaime Salcedo, you may be our Entrepreneur of the Year!

The little baby’s remains that were found yesterday in Florida are probably Caylee Anthony. Prosecutors think this new evidence will lead to a conviction of Casey Anthony.
Turns out this “habitual liar” wasn’t such a good mother after all.

“The remains of a young child were discovered Thursday morning in a wooded area near the home of missing toddler Caylee Anthony’s grandparents” (ABC News)
It’s ALWAYS in a wooded area! It’s like the trees are creating dead bodies through spontaneous generation!
UP to the minute coverage from ABC News.

Old man gets sick, dies. Grown son cannot bear to let go, puts dad in freezer. Grown son cannot bear to live without father, commits suicide.
Which I think is pretty selfish, considering he had a 15 year-old son of his own. Who then had to discover his father’s dead body.
More from Palm Beach Post / Sun Sentinel.
Sickest element of the story? The Sun Sentinel tags this story with “Electrical Appliance”. Uncool.

Say I wanted to find out how to break someone’s neck. And I’d never taken an anatomy class or seen CSI. What can an idiot do?? Google it!
Mother of the Year candidate Casey Anthony (or someone with access to her household laptop) was Googling “neck breaking” and “household weapons”.
If you think no one would be stupid enough to use their own computer for these lame and incriminating searches, you haven’t been following the saga of Casey Anthony.
Latest from Washington Post.

Abraham Biggs committed suicide on Wednesday, and invited the world to watch via webcam. Does this remind anyone else of Malcolm in Pump Up The Volume?
I hope the viewers who insulted and encouraged him to kill himself have learned that sometimes a cry for help is genuine, and not just a bid for attention.
