How bad is life in Kenya when people are so desperate for fuel or money that they’ll try to siphon spilled fuel from an overturned gasoline tanker? It just doesn’t seem like a great idea. Especially when “one vindictive looter whom officers tried to push away lit a match and threw it into a pool of gasoline.” Un-sporting! Over 100 people were killed, and 178 severely burned.
In a separate incident last week, a Kenyan supermarket fire killed dozens of shoppers because “store managers may have chained shut some of the supermarket’s doors to keep looters out”.
Looters just ruin it for everyone.

Ten thousand human bone fragments have been found in a pit at one of Argentina’s former detention centers. Forensic evidence shows the bodies were throw into the pit and burned.
